Error Message Pchooklaunch

Each time Bitdefender tries to make a scan, I get the same error message and am asked to send a report:

AppName: pchooklaunch32.exe AppVer: 14.0.28.74 ModName: msvcr90.dll

ModVer: 9.0.30729.6161 Offset: 00037256

I'm using: Windows XP, media center edition, version 2002, SP3

With Bitdefender Internetsecurity 2011

What can the problem be?

Or should I just use the option to download the free 2013 version of Bitdefender Internet Security to get ride of this problem?
