Is Bitdefender Now Compatible With Malwarebytes Anti-malware?
I know it caused troubles for me in the past even though I have setup the exclusions right where upon playing video files, MPC-HC would crash. As soon as I uninstalled MBAM everything went back to normal.
I know people here say we do not recommend you to use more than one security program along with Bitdefender Internet Security but what about this statement?
from the web, http://beta2013.bitdefender.com/
"We've listened to our valued Beta testers and are responding by making Bitdefender 2013 compatible with Malwarebytes so you can use both products at the same time."
Please shed some light on the above as I have MBAM Pro lifetime License but am hesitant to install it and I am so confused about the above statement

Hi berryracer,
Not recommended for simultaneous use of two anti-virus software. Even if BitDefender and Malwarebytes may work together it would be possible only in the case of using the free version of Malwarebytes (passive protection - not a real time).
Have a nice day.0 -
What is the different between passive and real-time protection ?
(Is it mean you have to use it with internet connection ?)
Thanks.0 -
I already started a topic before http://forum.bitdefender.com/index.php?showtopic=35774
Passive detection means on-demand protection and no real time or on-access protection and real-time protection means On-Access Protection.0 -
