Need Help To Fix Or Uninstall
Hello all,
I bought BD internet security last night. Downloaded it and started installing it. I updated itself and ran a scan. Had a few fixes and then prompted to finish install and restart. I restarted my computer and from then on it was virtually unresponsive. no error messages. after a while i decided to try to uninstall BD and it took 10 min to navigate to the BD uninstall through the startup menu(mouse over a word like programs and it literally takes 2-3 min to bring up menu). click the repair or uninstall icon and it takes me to install program and gives me the option to remove. I click remove then it askes are you sure and whatnot so i click remove again. I then get a hourglass indefinatly and it never starts to uninstall. i let it sit like that for a few hours hoping it was just thinking really slow. I restart PC and then try to navigate to windows add/remove programs. When i finally get to the icon i click it and nothing ever happens. I am obviosly very frustrated because i have no idea what to do and im sorry if i was long winded im just trying to be as specific as i can be. I f anyone could help me with this problem to either fix Bd or atleast uninstall it i would be greatly appriciative. Thank you very much -Blunder99-

Try to use BitDefender Uninstall Tool to remove BitDefender from your system (this tool has a more aggressive approach then the normal uninstall, and maybe it will work better).
As of why doesn't it work: first of all, please post some system specs (OS, some hardware specs).
Also, are you having some other security solutions installed (which one(s))? Or did you previously have any, which you removed (in which case, did you use specific removal tools to uninstall them)?
