I tried to register my (new) subscription from MyBitdefender but it seems stuck, blue circle turning around forever, see here

So I registered from within Control Panel and I lost 66 days of trial mode, PM sent to Christian, THANKS!!!!!!!

    Hello Max :)


    First of all let me explain you some things with the keys: 2 licenses can be merged automatically or manually.


    For example, if you have a registered product with a few days until the expiration date and you put a new key in the product, the server will automatically merge them if the new key has the same characteristics as the old one(as and example, both keys are for Bitdefender Total Security with 3 users).


    In your case, you have a trial license and one that you purchase from the store(and we thank you for that).


    For some reasons, trial keys are not merged with purchased keys. We often have promotions on Facebook or Hotforsecurity.com (in your case, those 66 days come from the kit posted on our blog) and the kit posted there has an unique license key for thousand of users. If we permit automatic merge for these keys, each user that will buy the product and register it after the trial will participate with some days to the original key and will result a "superkey" that will have 10-20 years validity period :D


    Leaking a key like this on the internet will affect all our legit users that used the 90 days promotion and we don't want this.


    In this case, please wait for those 66 days to expire and then register the product with tour license key. If you used the key(the one that you purchased) in your account or on another product, the validity period will start from that moment.

    Thanks for the explanation, it seems reasonable, never mind if I lost 66 days.


    However my little blue circle is still turning around in Remote Control --> Product Registration for the (from Control Panel) registered machines. (I also rebooted them, just to make sure)


    Should I worry?

    -1 machine is connected with cable


    I have BD firewall (Stealth mode OFF, Generic YES), connected with Modem/Router with Firewall Enabled

    Router and BD FW are off, rebooted router and PC, logged into account, still same nice blue rotating circle.


    It seems that my account is stuck. Don't worry, I have 365 days left to solve it :rolleyes:
