[resolved] Stealth Mode Prevents Connectivity

When I applied the stealth mode, I immediately lost my internet connection. I use a dsl router gateway - nat + firewall. Is it normal for you to have to disable stealth mode so the computer can see the router? I'm just hoping its not a symptom of a "man in the middle" attack. Stealth mode off = internet. ?

Any advice is appreciated.

Thank you very much. The settings recommended do provide connectivity. I thought the specifics of the situation would id what kind of compromise I have. But apparentlly its just good tcp.
