    Hello :)

In Bitdefender 2013 we have changed the Events a little bit. Now, when a module is set to off, an Event will be created (usually logged with a red color). If the user takes actions, the same event will be converted and displayed with green.

All the extra details will be displayed if needed in the main interface.

    Take care.

So in this case the user can't know the duration of state changed. e.g If someone turn off RTP at 11.00 am and the Event in red indication is logged at 11.00 am and then he turn ON RTP at 12.00 pm, that same Event is converted and displayed in green on 12.00 pm. So the RTP is turned OFF from 11.00 am to 12.00 pm (1 hour), but this information is not logged.

    Hello :)

The system works a little different. When the user wants to turn off the RTP, the product asking for how long.

The user has to choose the period(starting from 5 minute and ending with Permanently).

The product is not monitoring the time frame, only the status of the module. The period is not relevant, your can get infected in 1 second or in a few hours.

That's why we recommend users to create exclusions in some cases instead turning off On Access scanner.

    Take care.
