Blocking Hamachi
I have a question that maybe somebody has already figured out. I want to block VPN based access to systems like Hamachi. I know in parental controls I can block the EXEs for the control portion of it but not the Device Driver.
In BitDefender for example there'll be a Hamachi network.
Any other ideas with the Firewall or Parental controls to prevent this. Yes, I can log on and remove it once but these are kids we're talking about... LOL

You can set the VPN adapter from the firewall module to Untrusted ( http://forum.bitdefender.com/index.php?showtopic=35496 ) and after you can set a password for the product from Settings->General.

So that implies a local touch to the system. Thanks, I'll try that. Also, any feature improvements in the works around letting this happen remotely via the portal?0 -

Are you talking about moving all the settings for the product in cloud via My Bitdefender?
We have this implemented in our business products and all the settings are made from the online console.

Yes, so you can alter and change the state to a finer degree on the remote system. So your business suite does this? Okay thanks.0 -
