I think this is a good suggestion where we as users can know how big the virus definition updated/downloaded..{in kb/mb}

    Hi :)


    You can receive that information by setting Update to Prompt before downloading. With Bitdefender's frequent updates, that could drive you (it did me) a little nuts, but that option is there. On the 2012 version we did have the download indicator bar with size on the Update Panel, which I liked compared to the spinning arrow we now have. Yet, setting it as above, you will never miss what size an update is.

    I guess maybe a compromise is if on the Update logs; Events ->Update ->Subject, clicking on an update -> View log, that it would also show the update size too. Compared to the constant Update pop up to check its size.

    I think it is better if shown automatically..and maybe can be stated under/top of date in the update event.{it's just my opinion}

    Yes, showing it there would be even better, than having to open up the log file...good point and idea! I vote yes for that :)

    Now the update panel shows the amount of data downloaded.
