Bd Keeps Restoring Windows Security Center Alerts

Currently using BD Internet Security 2012 suite. I am finding that every time BD updates, it restores the Windows Security Center alerts to default, i.e, all three are enabled (Firewall, Anti-Virus, Automatic Updates). I used XP-SP3. I prefer to do OS updates manually, and don't want Security Center bugging me with alerts about updates. I keep that alert manually disabled. Until I started using this BD product, I never experienced any other AV program modifying Security Center alerts. How do I prevent BD from doing this?

Thanks.

    Hi :)

I think I have a solution for your case.

As the new Bitdefender 2013 product suite was released, we would like to inform you that you benefit from a FREE upgrade to the latest version.

Apart from the fact that the 2013 suite brings lots of new features and improvements, it will most likely solve any issues that you may have encountered with your previous Bitdefender product.

    Please check out this announcement:

After you install the new version, if needed, we will continue the conversation on the new area from here:

I have the issue with this windows 7 security center warning me that all my stuff is turned off when Bitdefender is sitting in the tray working properl, but it is not communicating with the windows 7 security center. Therein lies the problem Bitdefender is poor in it's ability to properly communicate with the security center. I have had this problem before and it was never resolved. The best they tell me is to keep trying repair or something similar. I just don't know anymore.
