Outlook 2010 Icon Missing

I just purchased and installed BitDefender 2013 today. This afternoon I noticed that my Outlook 2010 icon became a blank inoperable icon. When I try to delet it it says that it is open in BitDefender Virus Shield.

I have made a new Outlook 2010 icon shorcut but how do I remove or repair the original icon? Why did it do this? Thanks -Steve

Did you restarted the PC?

Have you tried to delete it in Safe Mode?

[How to restart in SAFE MODE]

- Restart the computer;

- Select "SAFE MODE"
