hi cris keep getting same message it reads

registry change denied identified as user blacklist. resident denied the change of SPYWAREBOT (category system startup user entry) based on your blacklist.

i havnt got a clue what this is...idont have spywarebot although i do have spybot s&d as well as bitdefender. when spywarebot is found on the scan and i click fix i get the message whether to allow a registry change as i dont know what it is i click no. i then get 5-6 small boxes appear which say spywarebot registry change denied and they flash on and off on my screen. i have also noticed that there is a file called registryfix on my system and mcafee which i dont have installed as i removed the programs from control panel. apart from that its working ok  thanx for any advice

Could you please post a screenshot? It will be easier to understand what wrong.

When the alerts appear, press Print Screen (or Prnt Scrn, on some keyboards). This key is located on the upper right corner of your keyboard.

After you press that key (you won't notice anything after pressing it), open Paint (Start -> All Programs -> Accessories -> Paint) and click Edit -> Paste. Then save the image as JPG and attach it to your next post.

    Hello jeffers,

    For the first screenshot: http://forum.bitdefender.com/index.php?showtopic=3841

For the 2nd and 3rd screenshots: it is not related to BitDefender. My guess is that the one that is blocking something to edit the registry is the Realtime Protection of SpyBot Search and Destroy, or some other security application that you have installed.

One thing I can say for sure: those popups do not belong to BitDefender.

What other security products are you using? Try to disable them and see which one generates those popups.
