Interactive Mode

I want to know whether there is interactive mode in firewall..i.e)when application tries to access internet BD must alert me...I know BD has paranoid mode...but when it alerts and if I give allow,the rule is stored permanently...Is there an option that allows temporary internet connections to applications?

Hello,

There isn't a way to store temporary rules in the firewall module from Bitdefender.

An alternative solution would be to turn on Paranoid mode and choose allow for the application that wants to connect to the internet.

Then, reset the rule already created and repeat these steps when you wish to allow its connection again.

Also, s product update was recently released. Your build should be 16.27.0.1763 (please right click on Bitdefender icon from system tray-near the clock-and choose "About". You should see in the left side the build number).

In order for the product update to be installed, you need to reboot your machine(you should see in the Events -> "Reboot required" under the Update module).
