Will Bd 2012 Work On Windows 8 Or Should I Get 2013?

Hi, i have upgraded my laptop to windows 8, i use BD total internet security 2012, i had previously had emails saying i can upgrade to BD 2013 free but when i tried i think it either said my key was invalid or just took me to a page where i could buy it, i still have about 100 days left on my 2012 licence as well.

When i run the windows 8 compatibility program it did say BD 2012 may have issues, so i am just wondering now if it will work or not when i try to install it later.

it sounds like 2013 would be much better on it but not sure if i can upgrade to it or not given the last time i tried.

can anyone please advise?
