I installed BD TS2013 on a windows 7 computer. Now I want to upgrade to windows 8.


Is there anything I should know about or do with BD2013 after the upgrade?

    Hi Druppie, and welcome :)


    I personally would uninstall BD before the upgrade, just to make sure you don't have any Windows 8 "compatibility issue" notifications during the 8 install. In this link, Christian provides a link that has the downloads, along with the uninstall tool on the bottom of the page. Download the Total Security, as you're saving your files and settings (correct?) from 7 to the 8 upgrade.


    Use the uninstall tool, rebooting as requested, and after that, run CCleaner in Registry mode, and only delete any Bitdefender keys that are left, reboot, and run CCleaner in Cleaner mode. Install Windows 8, and right click run as admin the BD file you had saved and downloaded.
