Bitdefender Blocked Internet

So after reinstalling bitdefender 2013 it decided to block all internet access.. It didn't even allow bitdefender to update itself so uninstalled and now internet is again working fine. So any suggestions how to fix this? <_<

    Thank you for reporting this issue.


    A product update was recently released. Please reinstall your product and check to have the build 16.28.0.1763 (please right click on Bitdefender icon from system tray-near the clock-and choose "About". You should see in the left side the build number).


    In order for the product update to be installed, you need to reboot your machine(you should see in the Events -> "Reboot required" under the Update module).

    And when this new build update will arrive to the Portuguese version? I must remember that BitDefender Antivirus 2013 English is already in 16.28 build and the Portuguese version stays at 16.24. I think that it is to much time, 6 months or more, between the released versions in English and the released in others languages, in this case Portuguese. The others Antivirus programs released their versions at the same time for all the languages, this is the first antivirus program with this problem.

    The build version 16.28.0.1763 is intended only for the American market since it activates some features and fixes reported only for this area.


    The Portuguese kits will also be updated to 16.28 next week. You can wait until then or you can install the English version. Please note that there are no restrictions on your Bitdefender Antivirus Plus 2013 license key, so if you really want to use this build, you can activate it with your current license key.
