So I'm running windows 8 pro 64bit, right now I have a trial of Internet Security 2013 installed and it seems to be working fine. Should I try to windows 8 security? Does it have a firewall to allow me to block certain applications?
If you are running Windows 8, then Bitdefender Windows 8 Security is what you should use.
Internet Security 2013 is compatible with Windows 8 but it does not take full advantage of the new security architecture in Windows 8.

I have BD Windows 8 Security installed on 2 Windows 8 Pro x64 laptops and am very happy with its performance!
