I'm having problems with the installation of Bitdefender Windows 8 Security.


I've just bought a new laptop, with a factory installed copy of Windows 8 (64 bit). I've tried downloading and installing the Windows 8 Security installation software, but during the first stage of the installation (unpacking?) I get an error message saying that files are corrupt and I should try downloading again.


I've used the unistaller to get rid of any corrupt files, and downloaded the software from different locations, but every time I get the same message


Has anyone else had this issue? Anyone find a way to resolve it?

    Usually this problem occurs if you had pause your downloads many times.


    ADVICE:Please Run Installer As Admin As Explorer Will grant permission to write files In Program files Folder

    Thank-you for the suggestion Pushkar.


    Unfortunately I tried it and it didn't work - I still get the same error message coming up

    Hi,


    If any Antivirus is already installed, you MUST remove it first.


    Use the bellow link (for removal tools) and then "CCleaner" or another registry cleaner tool :

    Then try again.
