Uninstall For Mac Version

I tired to uninstall the mac version many times using the uninstaller that came with the dmg file. I followed the instructions provided in previous forum post as well, but it will just NOT work. It is still on my mac. How do you cleanly and permanently remove Bitdefender from my mac? FYI this is NOT the free version but the trial version downloaded from the Bitdefender site. None of the solutions mentioned in the above links are working. How do you remove this software???
