Installed, Restarted, Crashes
Hi,
Just want to say that Bitdefender 2013 free crashes after being installed and rebooted.... everytime.
Only works the first time around.
I am running Windows 7 Pro x64 SP1, also trying to install the x64 version.
(Yes, nothing else that could interfere is running)
Thanks in advance.

The only thing I can find there is 5 files called a random number .bdinstall.bin.
I downloaded the file from bitdefender.com0 -
Hi antaeusdk,
Can you send me those files I as mentioned above?

I went out on a limb, and hoped it was those bdinstall.bin files you wanted.

Hello,
So, you should use this link to install the product http://www.bitdefender.com/solutions/free.html
Now, we have been analysing the logs and it seems that on 08.01 you have uninstalled the product and it failed and in the same session, on 15.01, you tried to install the product and it requested a restart.
You have to restart the machine, then succesfully unninstall the product (which will ask for another restart) and then use the link above to install it correctly.
If you have other issues please let me know.0 -
My apologises for the latened reply.
I do tend to NOT restart my computer very often.
That I did, it prompted me if I wanted to uninstall or repair. I tried uninstalling, it failed, and I sent the logs. I tried this again, and failed again. After restarting for the gods know how many times, I tried repair. That seemed to work. I restarted and it seems to be running.
Thank you!0 -
I am glad you fixed the problem.
