Recommended Settings For Firewall If You Are In Open Wifi Networks Alot?

Hi Guys,

I am a brand new guy here and I am looking for the best firewall settings in your expertise if my computer is in public high risk environment what are best firewall settings for high risk environments? Please help me out as since I am so new to this stuff. I read the definite pinned recommendations above but they say set it to home. I was curious what to do about a public zone were people can not be trusted in your network?

Make sure to have that turned on on a public network. Hackers will use a tool like nmap to view open ports on your computer and use that to gain access.

Remember to enable Intrusion Detection System (from Settings > Firewall > Advanced) ONLY when you suspect your PC to be infected.
