File Locking

I know this was a very old topic already but it was never resolved as far as I can tell:

This proble still seem to exist. During a program run we

download some data from the web into a temp file, read the data and close the file;

then download diferent data to the same file, read it close it;

this happens hundres times per program run (could happen few times a second) and has never had any issues

installing bit defender, it seems every so often (sometimes 3rd, 5th, 20th file write attempt) the file is indicated to be locked by the program, which prevents new data to be written.

because each run will download at least 200 files, bitdefender never fails to eventually put a lock on the file.

We've tried on all flavors of windows. Once the program is added to the BitDefender's exclusing list, files do not get locked anymore and the whole things runs as intended again.

Please tell me if the issue persists with the latest build version 16.28.0.1789

(right click on Bitdefender icon from system tray-near the clock-and choose "About". You should see in the left side the build number).

In order for the product update to be installed, you need to reboot your machine(you should see in the Events -> "Reboot required" under the Update module).
