If i turn the autoscan off does this cause any problems?

When i tried this app out about a week ago i was copying some files to a usb flash drive and watching a movie, both media player and file copy crashed because Bitdefender free started an auto scan while there was high disk activity. (i got mad and reinstalled a previous system image so i dont have any logs to send)

I thought maybe i gave up to soon and am trying free edition again.

No problem at all will be if you turn off autoscan.

The autoscan module is functioning based on some cpu and i/o disk thresholds to minimize the impact on the system when it is in use.

How did you find out that both apps crashed because autoscan started?

It will be helpfull if you can reproduce the problem and give me some logs.
