Have Some Event Types Been Pruned?
Have any of the recent updates pruned some of the event types which usually show in the Events list? I noticed that my event list seemed awfully small all of a sudden, and when I clicked on the "Select Event Source:" drop-down, the only items in the list were:
All
Antirootkit
Update
In the past, I thought there has been additional event types in that drop dwon list, such as Antivirus and Antispyware. Where did these events go? Have they been deemed obsolete by BitDefender developers and have been removed from the list in a recent update?
Thanks.

Hi garyinri
You are right in the past you can choose more options. But when you select all you will see all notifications.
Or you can use a filter. Press on filter and uncheck what you don't want to view. I can't say when it happens but it came with one of the latest updates. Today there was a large update so it could be related to that update but also to another update.

With the most recent update, the 'Antivirus' option has returned to the dropdown list.
I understand that 'All' will show all event types, and I had no event types filtered. The problem was that none of the scan results, with the exception of my Antirootkit scans, were showing in the event list, even when 'All' was selected. I had to go back to the individual scan logs for the task to see if there was an issue. At that time, the only things showing when 'All' was selected were the AntiRootKit and the Update events.
At least now the Antivirus events are showing up in the event list again.0 -

It appears I should qualify my above statement by saying that, on one of my machines, the 'Antivirus' option has returned to the dropdown list. I'm not sure why it is in the dropdown list on one of my machines but not the other. Both have all the updates applied.
Is anyone else seeing this problem?

Nevermind.
My so-called 'problem' was that there were no Antirootkit entries in the Events list, so that selection did not appear in the drop-down list. For some reason, something pruned many of the events from my list, causing some of the entries in the drop-down list not to show up since there was no entries of their type in the event list.0
