I am not able to locate any licensing terms and agreement information for the Rescue CD. Can someone point me in the right direction? Thank you!
The 2013 disk is based on Xubuntu and components are licensed under various terms, mainly GPL. Most components are listed in /casper/filesystem.manifest on the CD and you may research them individually if you please.
The licensing terms for our proprietary part are largely in
/opt/BitDefender-scanner/share/doc/EULA
While it does not have copyright information attached directly, at least
/usr/share/xfce4/backdrops/background.jpg
should be treated as marketing/promotional/press material and is subject to copyright.
