Issue With The Bitdefender Firewall

I'm currently using Bitdefender Total Internet 2013. The use of integrated Bitdefender firewall blocks internet access to my virtualization software VMwareWorkstation 9.0.1. I have to disable Bitdefender to the firewall to be accessible from the internet VMwareWorkstation 9.0.1. Please can you solve this problem? Keep protection in BitDefender firewall while continuing to surf the internet with VMwareWorkstation 9.0.1?.
