Managing Events

I recently installed Bitdefender Antivirus 2013 but have some problems with the settings .In events I can see the option to delete all and a blacked out "Mark as read".Firstly is there any way to delete just one event rather than all?

Second thr Mark as read option doe not work as it remains blacked out. Can anyone clarify this for me

I am dissappointed my first query to this forum has had no reply.I thought this would be a straight forward question with hopefully a simp0le solution [if any].

There is no way to delete just one event from the list.

Also, if all of the events are already read, the button 'Mark all as read' remains grayed out. As soon as a new event appears in the list (unread), the button becomes usable again.
