Cannot Turn On Ids (intrusion Detection System)

Hope somebody can help me.

IDS is turned off by default with Bitdefender 2013.

I turned it on and put the IDS mode to "normal".

When closing the gui and rechecking IDS is turned off again.

Anybody an idea why this is?

I'm using Windows 7 64-bit and Bitdefender 2013 Internet Security.

Hi Traveler, and welcome

Run an update and restart your PC, and then confirm that you have the latest build (see below) by right clicking the Bitdefender system tray icon, and About.

If that doesn't resolve the issue, try a repair, restart your PC, and see if that takes care of it: http://forum.bitdefender.com/index.php?showtopic=35489

Hi,

I'm on the same build as in your screen shot.

Repaired Bitdefender, but still have same issue.

As soon as I close (with the X on upper right corner) at the dashboard IDS is turned off.

Any more suggestions?
