Your Tool Is Useless
Honestly what is wrong with you? this was supposed to be a rescue mission not a learning mission 
After wasting my bandwidth on downloading your huge useless tool yesterday I find out that it does not detect my WiFi, all the versions I tried of Linux detected it. why are you using this stupid version of Linux, stop blaming that version and use another one. I have a very common device, it's not like I bought a new brand.
So my only hope in updating this garbage tool is to learn Linux, no thank you!
I tried other tools and they give you the option to update them through windows using a GUI just like updating any product, join the world!
If we wanted to learn Linux we wouldn't be still using windows, duhhh, and yes I don't copy lines like a mule without knowing how to use that system properly, I could end up losing my data thanks to you.
You should warn people before wasting their time downloading useless products.
