Outlook 2013: Bitdefender Not Filtering Any Spam

Hi,

I work with BIS 2013 on my Windows 8x64 laptop and I am using Outlook 2013 with POP-accounts. BIS anti spam seems not to filter any spam Messages automatically. Even added spammer's mails are not filtered. However, when I mark spam as such manually the mails are transferred to the spam Folder in deleted items. Any hint on making BIS 2013 filtering spam automatically? Thanks!

If A User is asking on the forum then he should be contacted through by opening ticket in his behalf.

When Christian was for BD 2013 forum he used to open ticket on customers behalf and then the customer was contacted.

IF BD Support Forum Does like this , I Need to forcefully switched to another AV product then BD. <img class=" />

    Hi,

    @ user11 :

I still can not locate your ticket. Did you use the same email as the one for this forum account? Kindly post your ticket ID here.

    @ Pushkar Gogte:

Thank you for your feedback! Before opening an email ticket for a customer we make sure there isn't a duplicate one already in the system.

Never mind, getting tired to wait after I opened the ticket I solved it myself: I deinstalled Bitedefnder.

This What BD is doing with customers since 2013 product suite.

Only Christian Would Comeback With Correct Answer.

@Georgia:Christian Used to open Ticket on basis of email id registered with the forum.

And If Want to see If He(Customer) Has Open Ticket Or Not Then My BD Account Should be merged with forum account.

  • Pity the guy had problem using BD with Outlook. I find BD works ok with OL 2010 and filters spam and junk mail, but isn't quite as effective as I'd hope it would be. I have the slider set to the most aggressive setting as I get around 20 pieces of junk / phishing most days. A lot is caught, but some still slip through even when they appear to be "obvious" junk to me. Maybe the 2014 build will allow users a bit more control over text that we'd like recognised as flagging junk mail as it appears regularly in headers or bodies of emails that hit our inboxes. Just a thought.
