Bitdefender Installation Problem

i have faced problem while installing bitdefender internet security


2013 on windows 8 basic..when the installation is going on, the computer automatically begins to restart without completing installation..but it's not restarting,its forming a loop,again and again its coming as restarting only.but computer not able to restart.so i shut down system and not installed bitdefender..please guide me to install it.

    Hmmm.....It seems that your system has been crashed resulting in BSOD.


    Boot the system and press F8 continously until you get Windows Boot Menu . Locate the option "Startup Settings" and then select "Disable Automatic Restart after System Failure" and press Enter. Windows will continue to boot and if there occur Blue Screen, take its snap and attach here.


    Otherwise you can try any of "System Restore" or "Automatic Repair" or "System Image Recovery" options.

    Just a follow up on ONTs post. Chances are, in using Windows 8 you may not be able to use the tried and true method of the F8 boot menu, as Windows 8 loads to fast to recognize that command. At least that is what happened to me in restoring my sisters Windows 8 notebook this Christmas.     It looks like Georgia gave you an excellent link concerning Bitdefender and Windows 8, they (Bitdefender) have really been creating some excellent KB/support articles. Defiantly go with hers, and use mine as just a Windows 8 resource link ^_^

    This was what I want to check from the BSOD, who is the culprit casuing the crash.
