Error Message!

I have BitDefender Internet Security 2013. My computer was working properly yesterday, and today, when I tried to turn on my computer I got a message on the black screen saying "The boot selection failed because a required device is inaccessible". I found my Windows CD and tried to boot Windows from the CD. I then saw the Windows sign, then a black screen with the mouse pointer that didn't disappear. I removed the CD, and turned off the computer.
I tried to turn on the computer again, and even though it was extremely slow, Windows started and I logged on to my desktop. The computer was extremely slow and I got an error message saying:
"BitDefender encountered problems while processing the files below:
C:\Windows\TEMP\bcdEBB5.tmp
Do you want to send these files to BitDefender labs for analysis?"
I chose yes. Then I got a message saying that BitDefender had a critical error and I chose to send the corresponding report. BitDefender restarted and some minutes after the same error message shows up, critical error, etc... In the meantime the computer was still extremely slow.
Do you know what might be going on? I recently replaced my hard drive, and all its content is a clonation of my old drive. I don't know if this is relevant.
