About New License

Greetings,

recently i just got BitDefender Total Security 2012. Someone got it for me from other country.

I can use it right, even though i'm in other country from where the license come?

I'm pretty sure i can use it. But I still want to make sure of it.

And I have windows 8 at my laptop. Can I use Total Security 2013 installer and put my 2012 license to validate my product?

Please help me

Hi lite_light and welcome to our forum!

Some Bitdefender license keys have geo IP and installation restrictions. Therefore, I can't guarantee that the key can be used to upgrade to Bitdefender 2013.

Since I can't find it in the system, please send me a PM with the key and I will get back to you with the correct answer.
