Flashing Video After Rescue Cd Boot Completes
Hello,
I am running a:
Dell 1747 Studio
8GB RAM
Windows 7 Ultimate (64bit)
ATI Mobility Radeon HD 4650 video card
machine.
Running Bit Defender Total Security 2013.
Seems when I boot from the CD, the video is flashing different colors / not a possibility to see anything.
When I boot using 'Rescue Mode', the video is fine and I can run the utilities and have deleted viruses/etc.
-->I can see the initial Linux boot messages in the setting up of the Linux environment
-->Appears that it is the setting up of the 'desktop' for (what I believe is a) GUI display that the screen just
starts flashing
I was wondering what could be causing the CD boot to have the video not usable.
Any assist appreciated.
