Autoscan And Autopilot Turned Off After Every Bootup

Every time I restart my PC, Autoscan and Autopilot are turned off. As a result my PC never seems to get scanned unless I manually initiate it. Last scan was done 58 days ago. I thought BD was taking care of me, but it obviously isn't checking for viruses, which is why I bought it in the first place.
I am using Bitdefender Total Security 2013, build 16.29.0.1830. How can I get this stuff to stay on?
