No Scan Activity In "file Zone" Box

Hello,


I've done a clean re-install of bitdefender, and realized that I haven't seen any green bars, at all, which is unusual because it is usually always scanning something. (Net zone is fine, and Realtime Protection is enabled).


Also, in the statistics window, there is nothing displayed in the "last scanned file". Even the log window is completely empty. It was not like this before.


Any ideas on whats going on?

    Try this right click on the BitDefender icon near the system clock press on open advanced settings click on advanced,now press on restore default settings and press on ok. Now go to the antivirus section and press also on default level.

    Yeah, I tried that...but it didn't do anything.


    Decided to use the repair wizard, just for the heck of it, then did a manual update...and that seemed to have worked. Pretty bizarre, but at least that problem is solved.


    We can close this issue now ;) Yay!

    After doing so, BD has become unstable again! Two crashes in less than an hour. This is ridiculous.

    First I recommend that you uninstall BitDefender completely by using this tool. First exit BitDefender by right clicking on the red BitDefender icon near the system clock press on exit. Run the tool reboot your pc. Re-run the tool once again reboot your pc and install BitDefender once again. Can you please be more specific with crashes? Do you mean that the realtime protection stopped working?


    Do you have other security software installed?
