Hello guys, today i faced with problem. Vsserv.exe (Bitdefender process) uses 10-20% of my single core cpu. I use Bitdefender Internet Security 14. Is there any way to solve this problem, or maybe i need to install another Bitdefender that don't use CPU. Sorry for my bad english and thanks for u'r time :>

I joined the Forum to see if anyone else is experiencing high CPU usage from BD vsserv.exe. I have been working with BD Tech Support for months as intermittently the CPU usage is in the high 90% range. I installed and ran Windows Repair from tweaking.com among many other files and programs to help resolve this issue. So far, so good but it's only been a couple of days.

I must say BD has stuck by me throughout all this but it is very frustrating when the machine slows down to a crawl. I use Process Explorer to track the CPU usage.

I'm running BD Plus and have no problem with CPU,always low usage.

Is it a BD "Internet security" version thing? because im not seeing it in "Plus"

When this happens on my computer, simply restarting my computer usually solves the issue. But note this doesn't happen very often. It's only happened to me (at most) twice. Otherwise, if it's persistent, you could always open an email ticket with Customer Support:

    http://www.bitdefender.com/support/consumer.html

You could also try lowering the antivirus shield settings, as well as telling it to ignore archives (as large archives eat away at CPU when you unpack them).
