Bitdefender Blocking Windows Update

I just installed Bitdefender Total Security 2013 build 16.33.0.1897 on my PC. It's running Windows Vista SP2 32-bit. When I try to download a windows update, I get an 80072efd error. Was not having this problem prior to the bitdefender install. Anything suggestions?
