Bitdefender Total Security Blocks Windows Smart Screen

My Bitdefender Total Security installation on a new Dell XPS 18 running Windows 8 appears to be blocking the Windows Smart Screen. The Smart Screen worked fine prior to the installation of Bitdefender Total Security, but immediately failed thereafter.


I'd like to retain the Windows Smart Screen functionality, any suggestions?
