Great Software
BitDefender Antivirus free looks like having the potential to be a great product. It's just that the lack of options, to tweak it, and no control over the detections, are a major drawback IMO. While the concept of the security software handling all the detections by itself, so that the ordinary user does not have to do anything, is quite a good idea in theory, but in reality, we all know that there are bound to be mistakes, and false positives.
If some sort of settings, customization, and detection control is offered in BD Free, it can become a great free product, with its detection rate, and cleaning capabilities.
