Unfortunately, i inserted a USB Drive in my laptop, it had a file named 3vo.exe which seemed to be hidden.


I noticed the file but, found strange that BitDefender didnt delete it.


After a few seconds, a pop up message appeared from my BitDefender 2008 saying that a registry entry was being created, which i denied manually.


But anyways, i think that my laptop is infected, because i cant show my hidden files and operating system protected files as i usually use my computer.


Everytime i click on the optio to show me the hidden files the screen does nothing but a simple refresh.


The files are still hidden.


After several scans i found Trojan.PWS.OnlineGames.SRE....looked for it on the database but didnt find anything.


How can i show my files again ? is there any data regarding this malware ? how can i clean it from my pc?


BitDefender 8 professional Client was the version that detected it.
