Just in case, try this and see if this helps. On your Bitdefender desktop icon, right click and run it as "Run as Admin", and when the BD UI opens, try running the Vulnerability scan again and see if you can get the updates to install.
Otherwise, I would just run Windows Update and grab any Critical/Important updates from there. Unfortunately, Bitdefender's Vulnerability scan cannot be relied on concerning the latest updates for Application Updates, as some of the updates can be often as in the case with FF, but Bitdefender does need to do a better job with keeping up with it. I just ran a BD update and then did a Vulnerability scan with the 2014 Internet Security on Windows 7. Notice Status, Installed version, and Latest version.
