Hard Reset Protection For Mobile Devices
I am currently looking into getting Bitdefender Sphere for my Family. I am currently using Avast Mobile Security on both our phones and am comparing the features.
One feature that is bothering me that Bitdefender doesn't have is hard reset protection, which Avast provides free of charge. I think that this is very important because the cluely thief just has to do a hard reset (which can be easily googled) and hey presto, security and owner control gone, free phone!.
I know Bitdefender advises against rooting, but the thing is bricking usually only occurs when the user has done something that they shouldn't have, such as used the wrong files or disconnected the connection when they were not supposed to, otherwise it provides many useful features such as hard reset protection and other security features not normally accessible.
