Any Way To Temporarily Suspend All Activities Of Bitdefender 2013?

I am using BD Total Security 2013.

I am having trouble connecting to my work's remote access (using Juniper Secure Remote Access) and I suspect that switching from Microsoft Security Essentials to BD could be the reason.

I would like to suspend all of BD's activities (AV, firewall, antispam, antiphishing, EVERYTHING) for a few minutes to check on the connectivity. Needless to say, I will be super careful in what I do during this, and I am behind a Cable router w NAT.

Any way to do this without uninstalling BD? That will be such a hassle to uninstall for 5 min and then re-install the product.
