I recently purchased this version for x64 Win8.1 Desktop and having issues in keeping on-access scan on.


Action Center does not show BitDefender under Virus Protection. It asks me to turn on Windows Defender. It sees BitDefender under Network Firewall and it's turned on.


BitDefender console shows up red ("There are critical issues to fix"). When I click start in the next screen, it tries to start "On-access scanning" but fails.


Is there a compatibility issue with Windows 8.1? Not sure if I can return it now, so looking for a solution.

    my Windows 8.1 works perfectly with this antivirus ... i would never change for another antivirus even for Kaspersky...
