The VSSERV.exe file in the Bitdefender folder is locking down files. How do I stop it? I've excluded the folder from the virus scan, so what now?

Locking down files? I've never heard of that. What exactly do you mean by, "locking down" files? Does Bitdefender not allow access to them? What messages do you get? Alternatively, you can also open an email ticket with Customer Support. Go here:
