Installation Files Are Corrupt.
Hello, guys.
I'm trying to install the new Bit Defender at my old PC but I'm facing some issues. I was installing it, but when it was 'downloading installer' it just didn't download anything (it didn't show the download speed, nor the estimated time or anything on the progress bar), so I canceled it and tried again, then boom, the error strikes.
First it says:
"Some installation files are corrupt. Please download a fresh copy and retry the installation"
Well, I did it and it keeps happening.
Further, after I click 'ok' another screen appears saying:
"Extracting files to "C:\Program Files\Common Files\Bitdefender\SetupInformation\{6F57816A-791A-4159-A75F-CFD0C7EA4FBF}" folder
CRC failed in core\Plugins\variant.c01
Unexpected end of archive"
And I'm unable to install my BitDefender Total Security.
The PC has windows vista (32 bits)

Before trying to reinstall it would be advisable to uninstall any traces of the previous attempt with the BD Uninstaller tool. Then install the program again.

I tried doing that, also, and rebooting the computer. When I run the uninstall it fails on "Executing additional tools" and then starts all over again, and again, forever and ever. So I just cancel it after the third run and reboot the PC, but everything keeps happening.
I'm really lost in this one.0 -
Ok, managed to "fix" it. I downloaded the offline installer "http://download.bitdefender.com/windows/de...r_ts_17_32b.exe" and it worked.
