What Does Bitdefender Do With Infected Email
Coming from Eset, I am used to the "infected mail" popups while my Outlook was receiving. I used to set Nod32 to delete those infected messages automatically. This way I made sure there are no infected messages stored in Outlook folders - not even in spam folders.
Now hello Bitdefender...
If one checked "Scan incoming e-mails" in Settings (Bitdefender Antivirus Plus 2014), then what happens if one of those incoming emails is infected? Is it deleted? Quarantined? Ignored? Does Bitdefender check attachments on incoming messages?
How can a user be aware of incoming infected email?
