How Do I Use Bitdefender Internet Security To Halt All Network Traffic?

I am a new user (1/2 day). I've looked for but cannot find a button or other feature in Bitdefender Internet Security that lets me temporarily stop all network traffic. Other similar programs I've used have this feature, so I'm sure I've simply overlooked it. Can someone advise?

Thanks.

Hi...Unfortunately, Bitdefender does not have this feature. It has been much requested but so far the developers have not implemented it.

Couldn't you just disconnect from the internet and achieve the same results?

@nutrobion, the quick right click, "stop all network traffic" feature request option isn't available as ozziebear mentioned (example link): http://forum.bitdefender.com/index.php?showtopic=33768

The best option that will get you there would be to go to Firewall/Manage Adapters/ and set Network type to Untrusted. It's a little extra clicking and ticking, but does the job.

Can I in all seriousness ask you a question? What indeed is the difference between a "Stop All Network Traffic" feature, and simply clicking your internet icon in the task manager and clicking "Disconnect"? If that really is the same thing, it seems redundant.
