Star Trek Online Won't Launch With Bitdefender Firewall

So recently between an update for both Star Trek Online and BitDefender, I am unable to play Star Trek Online (STO) unless I completely disable the Firewall despite having added all the exe files to the exception list.

Without having to go through the process of a work around disabling key files, are there any solutions? It just seems a waste to have to disable a key function like the Firewall in order to play my game.

Any help will be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

Firewalls don't use exception lists. They use application rules. To solve this problem, try this:

    1. Go to "Settings"

    2. Click on "Firewall"

    3. Click "Application Rules"

    4. Add Rules accordingly

Let me know if this worked. :)
