Unable To Install Bitdefender Total Security

Hi,

This has been so weird after purchasing BitDefeneder Total Security. First 6-7mb installer wasn't working in Windows 8 Pro and was giving error message that installer files are corrupt. I have sent a support ticket and waiting for reply. Then I used uninstall tool to remove any trace of installation and found offline installer link here on forum which was around 500+ Mb.

From last 12 hours my notebook screen is showing this, which I can't even cancel as installation isn't accepting cancelling it. Is it the reason reason BitDefender offers installation service which even a novice should be able to do?

When running the installation file,at the start of the process select "No" when asked to download things from the inet,in this way you will use only the files from the full installer.

You may not be able to upload the BDSP_ log resulted on your Desktop here as it is too big so you can put it on www.sendspace.com and post the download link.
